The Flametree Communication website is to help clients, potential clients, associates and potential recruits to gain more knowledge of who we are and what we can do for you.
 
We take the privacy of your information seriously and we ask that you read this Privacy Policy carefully as it is intended to inform you about how we collect and process your personal data through your use of our site www.flametreecommunication.co.uk and in other communications, including any information you may provide through our site when you purchase a product or service or sign up to our news updates. By providing us with your data, you warrant to us that you are over 13 years of age.

In summary, we only collect information that enables you to do something – download a guide, book a meeting with us, subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a product. What data do we collect?
 
Personal data means any information that allows your identification as an individual. It does not include anonymised data. We may process certain types of personal data about you as follows:
 
Identity Data may include your first name, last name, username, title.
Contact Data may include your billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
Financial Data may include your bank account and payment card details. (This relates to when you purchase a guide or product. These transactions are processed securely by PayPal).
Transaction Data may include details about payments you have made and other details of purchases made by you.
Technical Data may include your login data, internet protocol addresses, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, time zone setting and location, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this site. (This is generated by Weebly).
Profile Data may include your username and password, purchases or orders, your interests, preferences, feedback and poll responses. (We cannot see your password via Weebly. The only time you’d create an account is if you’re opting into any of our membership services, such as The epic Forum).
Usage Data may include information about how you use our website, products and services. (e.g visitor stats via Weebly or Google Analytics – see below).
Marketing and Communications Data may include your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us and your communication preferences.
 
We may process this personal information to: provide services to you, manage your payment transactions with us, meet our compliance obligations and maintain our relationship with you including marketing and market research (if you agree to them).
 
We may also process Aggregated Data from your personal data but this data does not reveal your identity and as such in itself is not personal data. An example of this is where we review your Usage Data to work out the percentage of website users visiting a specific area of our site or using a particular feature. If we link the Aggregated Data with your personal data so that you can be identified from it, then it is treated as personal data, but we don’t do this.
 
Sensitive data
 
We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

Log files do not contain any personal information. Flametree Communication also logs IP addresses, or the location of computers on the Internet for the purpose of diagnosing problems with our server and to administer the site.
Third parties or publicly available sources: We may receive personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out here. Technical Data from the following parties: analytics providers such as Google based outside the EU. Contact, Financial and Transaction Data from providers of technical, payment and delivery services. PayPal based inside the EU.
What is a cookie?
When you enter a site, your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. Cookies are text files that identify your computer to our server. Cookies in themselves do not identify the individual user, just the computer used. Many sites do this whenever a user visits their site in order to track traffic flow. Cookies themselves only record those areas of the site that have been visited by the computer in question, and for how long. Flametree Communication complies with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 (which replaces the 1995 Data Protection Directive) and the Data Protection Act 1998. We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. We will only use any personal information you send us for the purposes for which it is provided and as outlined in this policy. All staff that have access to your personal data or are associated with the handling of that data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data and to adhere to our Password Policy. We will only hold your information for as long as is necessary for these purposes and will not pass it to any other parties unless you give your consent. Please note that our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site.
