BUSINESS RE-ENGINEERING PROGRAMME
•As part of an EMEA initiative to grow profit within its Frito Lay snacks foods division, PepsiCo invested heavily in a major business re-engineering programme called ‘Fuelling the Selling Machine’ or FSM.
With multiple transformational work streams spanning over 20 countries, the communications activity was a key element of the Project Management Office (PMO).
The communications team had three key objectives. First, we worked with the EMEA Leadership team to ensure that the overall strategic message was clear and understandable. Second, we supported the PMO in ensuring that information flowed freely between the various project workstreams. Third, we regularly communicated with all employees on milestones and progress. Ultimately, FSM led to the closure of the EMEA UK Head Quarters and the creation of a new HQ organisation in Switzerland.
